Application example A
Hydrogen Sulphide monitoring system goes into alarm which triggers an SMS “ ALT @ site ABC” message to be sent to our engineer and the site operator. Our engineer calls the GSM Alarm+ and requests “ALT LED acknowledged”. The remotely controlled relay output is energised to illuminate the local LED indicating that we have acknowledged the alarm status. We communicate with odour control maintenance contractor who investigates the cause of the high level of odour whilst keeping the site operator informed. The high level odour period of release is reduced all for the cost of a couple of SMS messages. With a further 7 inputs to use for other alarms as well as battery-backed versions you can ensure your whole monitoring system and/or other local instrumentation can let you know when any event occurs.
Application example B
Natural Gas Detection System goes into alarm which triggers an SMS “ ALT @ site ABC” message to be sent to the facilities management company engineer who covers this site. The gas supply is automatically shut down and heating is lost to the building on a cold day. The operator calls the GSM Alarm+ and requests “ALT LED acknowledged”. The remotely controlled relay output is energised to illuminate the local LED indicating that the engineer has acknowledged the alarm status. The source of the leak is found and repaired enabling heat to be restored to the building as quickly as possible all for the cost of a couple of SMS messages.
