Biogas Monitoring Systems
It is now common place to burn Sewage Sludge (Biogas) and use as electricity for operation of a Sewage Treatment Works. Many of our customers are keen to know the quantity of biogas being generated before it is processed. Our extensive knowledge of gas detection technologies and use of conditioning equipment has enabled us to design numerous tailor made systems for monitoring continuously the gas concentrations within the duct prior to CHP process. We are regularly asked to monitor:
- % by volume levels of Methane (CH4)
- % by volume or ppm levels of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)
- % by volume levels of Oxygen (O2)
- % by volume levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
Features available are:
- Suitable for zone 1, zone 2 or safe area gas streams
- Sequential sampling numerous points back to a single cabinet to reduce capital cost
- Dilution systems to prolong life of the Hydrogen Sulphide sensor
- Data logging and/or 4 – 20 mA analogue outputs
- Wireless communication for text messaging faults or alarm conditions
